BBX Media supplies full AV Production for Rouleur Live Exhibition

Classic and collectable Rouler Magazine, the ‘finest cycling journal in the world’, host an exclusive event once a year – Rouleur Live. Rouleur Live is a celebration of cycling culture, offering interviews with cycling royalty, immersive experiences with the best brands, products and exhibits the sport has to offer. The Event Organisers required a prestigious event production technology company to take full ownership of their all -important, high calibre annual event.

Through site visits and careful consideration, we selected a 6m x 3m Absen Pro 2.5mm screen to display content specific visuals, enhancing the viewing experience for the audience and giving context to the high-profile cyclists discussions taking place on the 20′ x 8′ main stage. We also provided a down stage monitor to show the screen output and presentation timer to keep proceedings of the three-day exhibition running to schedule.

“I want to say a massive thank you to you and your team for the most amazingly brilliant job over the weekend. It’s always a bit of a worry when you bring on a new supplier for such a critical element of the show, but you smashed it out the park. You were brilliant to work with, which made my job a million times easier.”

Ken Pritchard, Event Director, Rouleur Live

A full lighting package was provided to ensure the stage guests were clearly visible during both daylight and evening shows, and to provide non-fluorescent house lighting, giving the auditorium a warm and welcoming environment.

A carefully designed Martin Audio sound system was strategically placed around the auditorium, along with Shure ULXD microphones and DPA Headsets to provide clear audio to the 400+ audience, both seated and standing.

To give the client the most return on investment from the event, BBX also provided 2x PTZ cameras relaying to a VIP seating area at the back of the auditorium to ensure those higher paying guests could clearly see the stage, up-close and personal.

All camera feeds and audio were also recorded to provide the client with ongoing content which will be released in the future months in the form of Podcasts and YouTube content.

The secondary stage was equipped with IT equipment and a 75” screen to enhance a varied programme of presentations. The audio production in a noisy, challenging environment was suitably covered by Sennheiser handheld microphones and Martin Audio PA.

“Thank you for your work at the show – we really appreciate it. We only do this once a year, so we couldn’t do it without people like you and your team who can just make things happen for us in an adaptable and reliable way – nothing but good feedback from us.”

Ben Ward, Commercial Director at Rouleur Magazine.
